Friday December 3 at 1:00pm-EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts gallery tour and activity
Childrens' tour and activity/project at the art gallery of EA Rawlinson Centre. It will run from 1:00-2:30pm on Friday the 3rd of December. Target age is grade 3 and up, although younger children may participate. Cost is $1.00/child for project supplies. Tuesday December 7 at 6:30 pm-CHEPAC Christmas Recital and party
Scarborough Baptist Church, 2650 6th Ave. East.
We will once again have a Homeschool Christmas Recital. This is our second annual, and I'm hoping it will be as delightful as our first. We will put together a program for anyone that wants to participate in a program. This is an opportunity for your kids to show their talent and see their name in print, so don't be shy. It can be a musical number, skit, reading, etc, and can be anyone individually or your whole family. Please email me by December 4, 2010 to have your child's number put in the program. dawn.krohn@gmail.com Please feel free to invite family and friends, other homeschooled families who aren't currently involved in CHEPAC, and any others that would like to share in a fun evening of carols, food and fellowship. Please bring a plate of cookies/goodies to share after the program.

Please meet at the police museum (across Marquis Rd. from casino) for a 1:00pm tour. We will then break for donuts and go to the RCMP hangar at 3:00pm for a tour and to check out the airplane. Please email Darci at chepac@hotmail.ca to let her know #s. Thanks!

****We are planning on renting the Melfort wave pool as a group in January. Please email asap if you plan to come. We need to reserve the pool and lifeguards now to get it for January. Please pay by October 7 to guarantee a spot. Cost will be only $20.00/family if we get enough interest. Thanks.

September 2--Picnic at Little Red River Park 430pm. Please bring your own food, drinks and lawn chairs. We will have a fire for hotdogs.

Star City Hutterite Colony tour and lunch. Cost is $2/person for tour. We will be bringing our own lunch and will be provided chocolate milk and ice cream. Contact chepac@hotmail.ca for info and to let us know if you are planning to come so that we can give those numbers to the school teacher at the colony. Thanks!

At the colony, take the first road to the right. On the left will be a white building with peach around the bottom. This is the church with the school in the basement. (we will meet here). After lunch will be unstructured time when the children can play games and visit with the children there. **

MOM'S NIGHT OUT

What works, or doesn't, and what you love and why. Please feel free to bring as much or as little to show as you want-a great chance to learn from each other!

KIDS DIG DEEP-CREATION DAY
Monday March 29 at the Birch Hills Community Church Youth Center

**A fun-filled day with video, teaching, crafts and more put on by Pastor Mike and Mrs. Gayle. They will be using materials from Answers In Genesis (Ken Hamm). They have tons of experience with running VBS and other kids' programs and have a really great day planned.
**ages PreK-Gr. 6. (there is a spot for moms with younger siblings to hang out).
There will be a small cost to cover crafts, lunch and snacks. I will post that as soon as I hear.
